Questions.
Open and closed questions. Can be used as an introductory game.
Open questions usually begin with: Who, what, where, when and how.
Closed questions: the other person only says yes or no. "Are you going to start tomorrow?" "Do you actually want to work here?" Are you sad because you don't have any more money?
If you want to know more from the other person you can continue asking open-ended questions.
Method:
- Each person gets a sheet of paper with an analog clock on it.
- At each hour you put a fellow student and the other does the same (eg at 3 o'clock they have a conversation, their name is at 3 o'clock).
- Each makes sure there is a conversation/appointment at each hour.
- Teacher monitors time (divide available time by 12) and starts by indicating that it is 1 o’clock and that the first conversations will be held.
- The questions/topics are as examples and can be thought of by the teacher.
