Underisable behavior.

Exchanging experiences of undesirable behaviour. The main goal is to learn from each other. It is advisable to work in groups.

When forming a group can look at the target group:
- Age.
- Gender.
- Cultural background.
- Nature of the problem, disorder, disability or level.
- Possible other points such as team composition.

What do you think is undesirable behaviour of clients in a residential group.
- Give examples of undesirable behaviour you have experienced.

Possible causes of undesirable behaviour and undesirable situations:
- Group culture and/or group atmosphere between clients.
- Composition of the group [horizontal, vertical, mixed].
- Group size.
- Physical environment.
- The client.
- The housing supervisor.
- Institutional policy.

Advantages and disadvantages of:
- Homogeneous [same species/sex] groups.
- Heterogeneous [dissimilar, incompatible] groups.

Examples of undesirable behaviour:
- Shouting from the client to residential counsellor.
- Clients harassing each other (squeezing, pulling hair, etc.).
- 3rd Client interferes when I am dealing with 2 clients.
- Aggression of clients towards each other (beating, kicking, etc.).
- Aggression of clients towards Wb'er (hitting, kicking, etc.).
- Intimidating (threatening with aggression) of clients towards each other.
- Harassment of clients towards Wb'er.
- Clothing prescriptions for clients.
- Spitting in the face.
- Hurtful language from client to Wb'er.
- Hurtful language from Wb'er to client.
- Throwing plates.
- Clients pushing each other aside.
- Client use of alcohol and drugs.
- Use of alcohol and drugs by Wb'er.
- Claiming behaviour of clients.
- Discrimination between clients.
- Discrimination from clients to staff.
- Discrimination by Wb'er.
- Clients have sexual feelings towards Wb'er.
- Sexual abuse of clients among themselves.
- Ignoring of clients by Wb'er.
- Of course a lot more that the students will report!
