Forum discussion.

This is a form of discussion where " experts " give their views on a particular topic and answer questions from the audience.

Method:

~You are experts on a proposition [topic].
Come up with or choose a statement.
Prepare well for this, because you have to defend the statement.
Next, think of a role [function].
From that role, you agree or disagree with the proposition (you clearly show this to the audience) and come up with arguments.



~Make sure you have the arguments on paper so you can clearly
articulate them and answer the questions that come from the
"audience".


~Put your name and title (position) that you hold as an expert on the
board.


~One of the forum members will lead the discussion.


Possible statements:

1 .The price of alcoholic beverages should be half price.

2. No more soccer should be broadcast on television.

3. Every family should own at least 1 pet.

4. Public transportation should be free for all.

5. Elderly people over the age of 60 should not be allowed to drive.

6. There should be fewer cells and more labor camps.

7. There should be more television channels.

8. …………….
